Reflections: Mount St. Helens Eruption

Dramatic and traumatic events often shape the way that people remember their community's past. Two crises in the last twenty years brought Moses Lake residents together.

The eruption of Mount St. Helens on May 18, 1980, dropped several inches of ash over Moses Lake, paralyzing the town for days.
